I am proud to receive a nomination in the 2022/2023 Fine Art Photography Awards for my series “Walking in LA”.

Entry Details – In 1982, the song “Walking in LA” by the new wave band Missing Persons poked fun at Los Angeles for our dependence on cars, with the refrain — “Nobody walks in LA”. In 2023, we walk, we strut and we meander.

Los Angeles has a unique architecture all its own, some of it loved, some of it hated and some of it unnoticed. Usually it takes some walking, which I love to do, and almost it always takes some waiting for the right subject to walk by and add some life and scale to my images.
