2025 WPE Awards

I am excited to announce getting two Silver Badges in 2025 WPE International Photography Awards for the following photographs:

Street Photography | Urbanity II
Architecture | Hassan II

The late afternoon sun casts long, dramatic shadows across the landscape in “Urbanity II”. Two white columns rise with an almost monumental presence, their smooth surfaces catching the rays of sunlight and glowing with an ethereal quality. This pristine geometry is powerfully contrasted by the inky silhouette of a man, his form a dark, anonymous shape framed against the luminous expanse of the further column.

The stark beauty of the black and white photograph, titled “Hassan II,” is striking, drawing the viewer’s eye to the profound contrast it presents. At its heart is the elegant silhouette of a woman wearing a hijab, a soft, flowing form that stands in gentle opposition to the rigid architectural elements surrounding her. This figure, rendered in deep shadow, becomes a focal point of human presence amidst the stoic grandeur of the building.
