2025 Artavita Artist of the Year
I am honored to be selected as a Finalist by Artavita as their 2025 Artist of the Year for my photographs: Paris Lines, Taking Sun at the Oculus and Hassan II.

Paris Lines captures a dense network of railroad tracks, their metallic surfaces glinting with an almost ethereal light against the deep, matte shadows of the surrounding ties and gravel. This dramatic interplay of light and dark imbues the scene with a sense of timelessness, stripping away any immediate indicators of era or precise location. The ways in which the lines converge and diverge, creates a visual labyrinth.
Taking Sun at the Oculus was taken In the heart of New York City at the Oculus, a marvel of modern architecture. Its skeletal wings, reaching towards the sky, are framed by the stark contrast of the plaza below. Amidst the grandeur of the structure, a lone man finds a moment of solace, a solitary figure bathed in the ethereal glow of sunlight.
Hassan II is a striking photograph, drawing the viewer’s eye to the profound contrast it presents. At its heart is the elegant silhouette of a woman wearing a hijab, a soft, flowing form that stands in gentle opposition to the geometric architectural elements surrounding her.
