August, 2024 — I am proud to announce that three color photos from the recent trip to Morocco have been selected by F-Stop Magazine for publication in ISSUE #126: Telling Stories 2024.
“Siesta in Marrakesh” focuses on a man sleeping in a wheelbarrow in Marrakesh.
“Hiding in Plain Sight” focuses on woman hiding amid her laundry in Casablanca.
“Showdown in Fez” focuses on the contrast between two women in Fes.
Eric M Renard is one of California’s Leading contemporary Fine Art Photographers. His passion for photography was ignited at Tufts University in Boston, where he studied under Siegfried Halus. After graduating, Eric returned to San Francisco, where he worked as an architectural real estate photographer before moving to Los Angeles. He has explored the modern world through black & white photography, though he is equally well-known for his distinctive color work. His recent black and white exhibitions have focused on high contrast, urban cityscapes which portray an eerie sense of peace and tranquility. The landscape is the hero, with the people in them subject to the power of their surroundings.
