While almost anyone can take a picture – an Artist is able to freeze time in a single moment to share a unique perspective capable of evoking emotion, crafting a narrative, or transporting the viewer to an entirely different place. Eric M Renard is one of California’s Leading contemporary Fine Art Photographers. His passion for photography was ignited at Tufts University in Boston, where he studied under Siegfried Halus. After graduating, Eric returned to San Francisco, where he worked as an architectural real estate photographer before moving to Los Angeles. He has explored the modern world through black & white photography, though he is equally well-known for his distinctive color work. His recent black and white exhibitions have focused on high contrast, urban cityscapes which portray an eerie sense of peace and tranquility.
