That is an awesome shot from the Santa Monica pier shooting north. I know that because I worked there as a lifeguard, and we referred to that beach as “The Zoo” because the Santa Monica freeway brought hoards of people to the beach from the inner city, and a giant parking lot fed a small area of beach.
Thanks Jeff. You are correct about the location. I didnt know about the beach’s nickname.
