“Streets of Montpellier” captures a fleeting moment, a solitary figure swallowed by the grandeur of the past. The afternoon sun, a powerful presence, backlights a man walking, rendering him a stark silhouette against the sunlit buildings. He is a transient element, dwarfed by the imposing presence of the historic, three-story buildings that line the tiled path.
