Timisms Exhibition 2025

Opening Reception: Saturday July 26, 7-11 pm

“Timisms” — a group exhibition exploring personal relationships with time. This exhibitiont contemplates the emotional, psychological, and symbolic weight of Time.

Artists and Time have always shared an intimate, ever-shifting relationship — at once inspiring, tormenting, and transforming. From the surreal clocks of Salvador Dalí’s The Persistence of Memory to your own moments of reflection, Time is a muse that never stops ticking. We invite artists to explore their own Timisms — personal philosophies, obsessions, and experiences shaped by time. Are you haunted by its passing or comforted by its rhythm?

“Silent Scream” is on exhibition and was taken in 2011 in Rome, Italy during the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul celebration. The bustling crowd was in the Piazza di Ponte Sant’Angelo, a busy square located near the Castel Sant’Angelo. To take this photograph, I climbed a wall connected to the Ponte Sant’Angelo to get above the crowds. It was a 6-second exposure to catch the movement of the crowds. Only a few people in the crowd were somewhat stationary during the exposure, including the silent screamer in the lower left and a very intense bearded man between the police cars in the center.
