Line Haul
The stark, black and white photograph titled ‘Line Haul’ presents a scene devoid of the usual urban bustle. Taken from a bird’s eye vantage point, the viewer looks down upon an expanse of black asphalt. Painted white lines, sharp and precise, bisect the parking lot, their geometry stark against the dark surface. The space is eerily empty, save for a lone figure.

Description
The stark, black and white photograph titled ‘Line Haul’ presents a scene devoid of the usual urban bustle. Taken from a bird’s eye vantage point, the viewer looks down upon an expanse of black asphalt. Painted white lines, sharp and precise, bisect the parking lot, their geometry stark against the dark surface. The space is eerily empty, save for a lone figure. A cyclist, clad in a plaid jacket that adds a human element to the monochrome world, pedals across the desolate lot. In one hand, they carry a small cooler, a solitary companion against the vastness, adding a subtle narrative to the otherwise abstract landscape of asphalt and lines.
